I live so very far a way from war that one ever could do these days...(Sweden) and I think that people change their minds over life time... The mostly people that are very sensitive to the glory of Heroism is young boys. One can study the fanatic regimes and easy see that it is very easy to having impact on young teenager and young men, when glorify the sacrefying of life for the good of the Sake.... then WHAT the sake is is not the important thing... It can be the God, the religion, the country. I agree with you.. though I do understand the feeling of mothers, fathers , sisters, brothers , wifes or what ever.. No one want their beloved dear ones to having waist their lifes for NOTHING. So... I only wish and pray for more "talking" at high level and lesser use of human beings as deadly weapon.

I have also had some thoughts about the war machinery
